Narrative:

We were executing an approach into kent state airport. Upon being cleared for the approach, I proceeded to put the gear down and called '3 in the green'. We broke off the approach and entered the pattern at kent. The '3 in the green' check was made on downwind, base, and final. We then executed the landing, and the moment the nose gear touched the runway, it collapsed causing the aircraft to skid down the runway on the nose. This caused substantial damage to the nose and propellers.
