Narrative:
Small aircraft was on routine x-county and experienced elevator vibration, then binding of elevator control. Control horn (on 04320 2-4 bell crank) had cable attach bolt and nut loose and binding against rear bulk head. Landed off runway at franklin field--hard landing. Will assess damage.

Narrative: SMA WAS ON ROUTINE X-COUNTY AND EXPERIENCED ELEVATOR VIBRATION, THEN BINDING OF ELEVATOR CONTROL. CONTROL HORN (ON 04320 2-4 BELL CRANK) HAD CABLE ATTACH BOLT AND NUT LOOSE AND BINDING AGAINST REAR BULK HEAD. LANDED OFF RWY AT FRANKLIN FIELD--HARD LNDG. WILL ASSESS DAMAGE.
