Narrative:
Jnu FSS rco 121.1 (robert barron mountain) is necessary as it is the only communications line for many remote areas of southeast ak. It is OTS most of the time. The facility used to be maintained by a competent private contractor and there were few problems. The new private contractor (XXX company) is incompetent and they admit they can't do the job. If FAA continues to ignore this problem, someone is going to be injured or killed because of no communication.
