Narrative:
Left wingtip damage noted on post-flight in cvg. Flight started in jfk-pit-cvg. Preflight done in jfk and no damage noted, after preflight crew was away from aircraft approximately 1 hour due to company calling us for a possible release that was to change our flight plan. Flight coming into pit first officer got sick in cockpit (threw up). In pit no post-flight inspection was done as I was determining flying status of first officer and taking care of weight/balance for the leg from pit to cvg. First officer began to feel better and after talking with him determined that he was ok to fly. Pit-cvg no problems. Cvg post-flight damage noted on left wingtip. Because of short time pit, aircraft location and the lack of any equipment around aircraft I believe wing was damaged in jfk. Contributing factors: reduced crew rest from day before. Confusion over release and crew away from aircraft (1 hour). Lack of better judgement on physical condition of first officer in pit to fly to cvg after being sick. No post-flight inspection done in pit.

Title: COMMUTER FLT CREW DISCOVERS WING TIP DAMAGE AFTER LAST STOP OF THREE LEG TRIP.
Narrative: L WINGTIP DAMAGE NOTED ON POST-FLT IN CVG. FLT STARTED IN JFK-PIT-CVG. PREFLT DONE IN JFK AND NO DAMAGE NOTED, AFTER PREFLT CREW WAS AWAY FROM ACFT APPROX 1 HR DUE TO COMPANY CALLING US FOR A POSSIBLE RELEASE THAT WAS TO CHANGE OUR FLT PLAN. FLT COMING INTO PIT F/O GOT SICK IN COCKPIT (THREW UP). IN PIT NO POST-FLT INSPECTION WAS DONE AS I WAS DETERMINING FLYING STATUS OF F/O AND TAKING CARE OF WT/BALANCE FOR THE LEG FROM PIT TO CVG. F/O BEGAN TO FEEL BETTER AND AFTER TALKING WITH HIM DETERMINED THAT HE WAS OK TO FLY. PIT-CVG NO PROBS. CVG POST-FLT DAMAGE NOTED ON L WINGTIP. BECAUSE OF SHORT TIME PIT, ACFT LOCATION AND THE LACK OF ANY EQUIP AROUND ACFT I BELIEVE WING WAS DAMAGED IN JFK. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: REDUCED CREW REST FROM DAY BEFORE. CONFUSION OVER RELEASE AND CREW AWAY FROM ACFT (1 HR). LACK OF BETTER JUDGEMENT ON PHYSICAL CONDITION OF F/O IN PIT TO FLY TO CVG AFTER BEING SICK. NO POST-FLT INSPECTION DONE IN PIT.
