Narrative:
Aircraft hit fence at end of runway during landing. No aircraft damage and no injuries. For a short field landing, the pilot manual recommends 55 KTS to 60 KTS final approach, 30 degree flap setting for downwind and base. Somehow I forgot to extend the last 10 degree of flap during final. T/D was in first 300' of the 1700' runway. Kept sliding. I did not retract flaps as the manual calls for. I applied heavy braking, but the brakes locked. The aircraft suffered a dent at tip of propeller. The school mechanic replaced the propeller and certified the aircraft for service.

Title: LOW TIME GA PLT RUNS OFF END OF 1700' RWY.
Narrative: ACFT HIT FENCE AT END OF RWY DURING LNDG. NO ACFT DAMAGE AND NO INJURIES. FOR A SHORT FIELD LNDG, THE PLT MANUAL RECOMMENDS 55 KTS TO 60 KTS FINAL APCH, 30 DEG FLAP SETTING FOR DOWNWIND AND BASE. SOMEHOW I FORGOT TO EXTEND THE LAST 10 DEG OF FLAP DURING FINAL. T/D WAS IN FIRST 300' OF THE 1700' RWY. KEPT SLIDING. I DID NOT RETRACT FLAPS AS THE MANUAL CALLS FOR. I APPLIED HEAVY BRAKING, BUT THE BRAKES LOCKED. THE ACFT SUFFERED A DENT AT TIP OF PROP. THE SCHOOL MECH REPLACED THE PROP AND CERTIFIED THE ACFT FOR SVC.
