Narrative:
On short final; I was cleared for the visual and when I was about 1000 ft above the ground a military T1 turned in from base to final underneath me. I was about 300 ft above the other plane and contacted the tower as I pulled up to avoid contact. The tower said I would be number 2 behind the T1. As the T1 went missed; I came in behind it and landed. The tower does not have radar and must rely on pilot reports and visual sightings.
