Narrative:
During climb from houston to atlanta, oil temperature on #1 engine rose to caution range. Oil temperature stabilized at 125 degree and the engine was shut down. An uneventful single engine landing was accomplished at new orleans.

Title: MLG DIVERTS TO MSY WHEN LEFT ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE INCREASES.
Narrative: DURING CLB FROM HOUSTON TO ATLANTA, OIL TEMP ON #1 ENG ROSE TO CAUTION RANGE. OIL TEMP STABILIZED AT 125 DEG AND THE ENG WAS SHUT DOWN. AN UNEVENTFUL SINGLE ENG LNDG WAS ACCOMPLISHED AT NEW ORLEANS.
