Narrative:
Cruising at 8500' MSL a high-wing, single engine aircraft crossed in front from left to right. This aircraft was at the same altitude approximately as my aircraft and took no evasive action. Radar flight following would likely prevent a recurrence.

Narrative: CRUISING AT 8500' MSL A HIGH-WING, SINGLE ENG ACFT CROSSED IN FRONT FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. THIS ACFT WAS AT THE SAME ALT APPROX AS MY ACFT AND TOOK NO EVASIVE ACTION. RADAR FLT FOLLOWING WOULD LIKELY PREVENT A RECURRENCE.
