Narrative:
We were being stepped down from FL410 for landing in willow run and the captain and I understood the controller on 120.45 to say 'cross cruxx at 9000, descend to and maintain 9000.' we were currently at 18000' MSL. We began the descent and at approximately 15 mi from cruxx at 11000-13000' the controller asked us our altitude. We reported and told him we were going to 9000'. He said, 'I told you to expect to cross cruxx at 9000', but you were cleared at 18000'.' he said we had come too close to some aircraft at 17000' which neither the captain nor I saw. He also said later hi might be giving us a call on the situation. Later he said that he believed that the readback was incorrect on the crossing restriction. Supplemental information from acn 148219: when we landed I called ZOB and asked if action was being taken. He stated that none was!!
