Narrative:
Had a master warning tail compartment temperature high light on climb out through 10000' MSL. Accomplished appropriate emergency procedures, solved situation, and returned to dfw and made an uneventful overweight landing at 131000 pounds. Problem was suspected to be a bleed air leak in tail compartment, and post-flight maintenance confirmed that and replaced some ducting clamps and seals. Everything went by the book and no difficulties were encountered. We did declare an emergency and made the landing back at our departure station (dfw).
