Narrative:
During an emergency at bwi, medium large transport lost sep with an light transport. The light transport was on an emergency clearance with smoke in the cockpit. The medium large transport was holding on the bwi 300 degree right at 15 DME fix. The emergency aircraft was expected to fly the final to runway 10. Instead he turned nwbnd to deviate around WX. Light transport was at 5000' when he turned into medium large transport holding at 5000'. Medium large transport was issued an immediate climb clearance 3 times prior to any action.

Narrative: DURING AN EMER AT BWI, MLG LOST SEP WITH AN LTT. THE LTT WAS ON AN EMER CLRNC WITH SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT. THE MLG WAS HOLDING ON THE BWI 300 DEG R AT 15 DME FIX.
