Narrative:

On approach bwi, runway 33, about 1500', flaps 1 degree selected, first officer noted trailing edge flaps splitting. On selection of 5 degree flaps, split showed 1/2 degree left and 4 degrees right, aircraft tended to roll off slightly. Split flaps go-around was made, abnormal checklist was run, company notified, returned to bwi and no flap landing made west/O incident.
