Narrative:
I was landing on a gravel road. Was about to touch down and the aircraft dropped causing a slightly hard landing. If this was any other aircraft it would have resulted in a slight bounce; however the quicksilver has no suspension and the rear axle which snapped off is just a thin walled aluminum tube. This caused the nose wheel to hit abruptly and the struts to let go causing the aircraft to nose over. I was alone and only received a minor cut on my left leg.
