Narrative:
After taking off and upon setting climb power; strong engine oil smell in cockpit was detected. Cabin crew also complained about the smell. Feeling light headed and with and eyes itching; we returned to an uneventful precautionary landing. After deplaning it became evident that the entire crew was not feeling well and decided to call paramedics. Crew was transported to local hospital and admitted to the er for screening and evaluation. Crew was released by er staff.

Title: A319 Captain reported a strong engine oil smell in the cockpit and cabin during the climb.
Narrative: After taking off and upon setting climb power; strong engine oil smell in cockpit was detected. Cabin crew also complained about the smell. Feeling light headed and with and eyes itching; we returned to an uneventful precautionary landing.
