Narrative:
Aircraft a, being worked by high altitude sector, pointed out to super high sector and climbed to FL330 on a 100 degree heading and data block handed off to adjacent super high sector. Attempt to put a pvd on the adjacent high altitude sector failed and no verbal point out made. Aircraft B, westbound at FL310, being handed off to my high altitude sector was initially westbound, tracking north of aircraft a, but then turned southwest after clearing WX impacting all related sectors. The new heading put aircraft B in confliction with aircraft a, still climbing to FL330. Conflict alert activated and aircraft a, already at FL298 was immediately descended by controller a (myself) and controller B turn the westbound aircraft to a 330 degree heading. The closest point of crossing was 1400' and 0.9 mi. WX deviation requests and frequency congestion contributed to the traffic complexity at the time of this error. My assumption that aircraft a had been electronically pvd'd to the adjacent high altitude sector and failure to verbally verify the point out were contributing factors to this error.

Title: STANDARD SEPARATION WAS LOST WHEN AN ACFT RETURNED TO ORIGINAL COURSE AND CONFLICTED WITH AN ACFT CLIMBING TO ASSIGNED ALT.
Narrative: ACFT A, BEING WORKED BY HIGH ALT SECTOR, POINTED OUT TO SUPER HIGH SECTOR AND CLBED TO FL330 ON A 100 DEG HDG AND DATA BLOCK HANDED OFF TO ADJACENT SUPER HIGH SECTOR. ATTEMPT TO PUT A PVD ON THE ADJACENT HIGH ALT SECTOR FAILED AND NO VERBAL POINT OUT MADE. ACFT B, WBND AT FL310, BEING HANDED OFF TO MY HIGH ALT SECTOR WAS INITIALLY WBND, TRACKING N OF ACFT A, BUT THEN TURNED SW AFTER CLRING WX IMPACTING ALL RELATED SECTORS. THE NEW HDG PUT ACFT B IN CONFLICTION WITH ACFT A, STILL CLBING TO FL330. CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED AND ACFT A, ALREADY AT FL298 WAS IMMEDIATELY DSNDED BY CTLR A (MYSELF) AND CTLR B TURN THE WBND ACFT TO A 330 DEG HDG. THE CLOSEST POINT OF XING WAS 1400' AND 0.9 MI. WX DEV REQUESTS AND FREQ CONGESTION CONTRIBUTED TO THE TFC COMPLEXITY AT THE TIME OF THIS ERROR.
