Narrative:
While executing the visual approach; approximately 1 minute after disconnecting the autopilot; the elevator system jammed. I was able to push through the jam and with a loud clunk; the jam released. The flight control system worked normally for the rest of the flight. After parking; maintenance was called and found no issues after several checks.
