Narrative:
Flight was en route from ord to nrt. ATC clearance was from ord to nrt dispatch release was from ord to chituse, japan. Required procedure is for dispatch to issue a rerelease with revised fuel, time and WX from an en route point to final destination (as per far 121.601 C and far 121.603 B). In this case, the rerelease point was nokka. 100 mi prior to nokka flight had not received rerelease message from dispatch. We made 4 separate requests through tokyo radio to acquire a rerelease from dispatch. Dispatch failed to provide one until the time we had reached a point where those new numbers would have been moot. Since we had 54000 pounds of fuel at nokka and 'world flight' indicated that 41500 pounds of fuel met ar 121.645 requirements and was much more than needed to continue safely. Flight was continued to nrt west/O incident. Fuel on arrival was 34600 pounds.
