Narrative:
I've enclosed an airport diagram of mke. You will notice that taxiway foxtrot looks like a runway from the air. It even looks more parallel to runway 7R than does runway 7L. It would be easy to confuse taxiway F for runway 7L as I have before. This could be a dangerous situation. I have spoken informally to one of the tower controllers who told me that he too was concerned but nothing was being done. Furthermore, runway 7L is hard to see from the air. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: reporter wanted callback. Stated that taxiway F used to be a runway and shows up as a runway from a distance. He believes a pilot could make a mistake and land on the taxiway instead of the runway. Reporter thinks there should be 'X's' at the end to prevent this possible problem. Reporter did not have an incident, but wants to identify it as a possible problem. Reporter's information conversation with the tower occurred with ground control while taxiing in after landing. Reporter is a stranger to the airport and flies part 135.

Title: PLT REPORTS THAT TXWY F AT MKE APPEARS TO BE A RWY FROM THE AIR AND IS PARALLEL TO RWY 7R.
Narrative: I'VE ENCLOSED AN ARPT DIAGRAM OF MKE. YOU WILL NOTICE THAT TXWY FOXTROT LOOKS LIKE A RWY FROM THE AIR. IT EVEN LOOKS MORE PARALLEL TO RWY 7R THAN DOES RWY 7L. IT WOULD BE EASY TO CONFUSE TXWY F FOR RWY 7L AS I HAVE BEFORE. THIS COULD BE A DANGEROUS SITUATION. I HAVE SPOKEN INFORMALLY TO ONE OF THE TWR CTLRS WHO TOLD ME THAT HE TOO WAS CONCERNED BUT NOTHING WAS BEING DONE. FURTHERMORE, RWY 7L IS HARD TO SEE FROM THE AIR. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING: RPTR WANTED CALLBACK. STATED THAT TXWY F USED TO BE A RWY AND SHOWS UP AS A RWY FROM A DISTANCE. HE BELIEVES A PLT COULD MAKE A MISTAKE AND LAND ON THE TXWY INSTEAD OF THE RWY. RPTR THINKS THERE SHOULD BE 'X'S' AT THE END TO PREVENT THIS POSSIBLE PROB. RPTR DID NOT HAVE AN INCIDENT, BUT WANTS TO IDENT IT AS A POSSIBLE PROB. RPTR'S INFORMATION CONVERSATION WITH THE TWR OCCURRED WITH GND CTL WHILE TAXIING IN AFTER LNDG. RPTR IS A STRANGER TO THE ARPT AND FLIES PART 135.
