Narrative:

I have a major issue with the rampers not using glow wands during low visibility and during the night. The rampers are using black or dark gloves to the point that they blend in with their jackets or the background and are not extending their arms fully for full visibility of the move back gestures. I have communicated this to both management and to the safety team and the safety team stated they agree and verified this with me at the gate. Just like [they are] supposed to use night wands to guide in and pushback planes; they should use them for jet bridge guide off. It's hard to see sometimes as the window in the cab may be dirty with snow; dirt and water when it rains. It isn't just at this gate. It's at every gate.
