Narrative:
First officer was flying and aborted the takeoff when a mid-cargo door light came on at about 120-130 KTS. Rolled to end of runway (35R, den) and completed required checklists while taxiing back to hangar to get the brakes cooled. The first officer made a bad decision to abort the takeoff above 100 KTS for a door light coming on. This could have been prevented by more training in aborted takeoffs or if I had not given him the right to decide when to abort on his takeoff. Supplemental information from acn 151803: first officer initiated and performed prior to V1 speed. Normal rejected takeoff checklist accomplished. Normal rollout and turn-off. No physical damage or occurrence. Inspected door. Found secured and locked. Suspect malfunction of sensor unit. Brake cooling required (260 degrees maximum). Returned to gate.

Title: TKOF ABORTED ON ACR MLG AS DOOR WARNING LIGHT COMES ON FOR CARGO DOOR. CAPT DISPLEASED WITH FO'S ABORT ACCOUNT DOOR LIGHT. THOUGHT THE ABORT UNNECESSARY.
Narrative: F/O WAS FLYING AND ABORTED THE TKOF WHEN A MID-CARGO DOOR LIGHT CAME ON AT ABOUT 120-130 KTS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 151803: F/O INITIATED AND PERFORMED PRIOR TO V1 SPD. NORMAL REJECTED TKOF CHKLIST ACCOMPLISHED. NORMAL ROLLOUT AND TURN-OFF. NO PHYSICAL DAMAGE OR OCCURRENCE. INSPECTED DOOR. FOUND SECURED AND LOCKED. SUSPECT MALFUNCTION OF SENSOR UNIT. BRAKE COOLING REQUIRED (260 DEGS MAX). RETURNED TO GATE.
