Departed st mary's with normal right turnout for flight to jacksonville. Marines at kingsbay naval base spotlighted aircraft through entire maneuver. I returned to airport and phoned complaint to duty officer. Took off a second time and had same problem. Aircraft was spotted for some 2 mi as it proceeded south, away from the base. Night vision was completely destroyed!
