Narrative:
On departure from bur, flight to las vegas, we were flying the vny 6 departure/daggett transition. We both pulled our las vegas arrival (creso 1) out at 18000'. Upon passing pmd we intercepted the 047 degree right and were tracking outbnd when center gave us a 20 degree right turn to avoid a restr area. We then realized we were tracking the wrong outbnd radial. We had set 047 degrees instead of 065 degrees. The 047 degree right was the outbnd radial for our next fix (daggett). We contacted center when we landed and were informed that we had incursioned into the edwards restr area. In an attempt to get ahead, we inadvertently tracked outbnd on a course which was off our next VOR instead of the one we were on. Too complacent.
