Narrative:

After completion of normal checklist we departed gate and began taxiout for departure. Before exiting the ramp, I dropped a cup of hot coffee in my lap, most of which spilled on me and the cockpit floor but a small amount splashed on the center console. After cleaning the area up, I exchanged seats with the international officer (first officer qualified) and changed into a spare pair of uniform pants. I then returned to my seat and the aircraft resumed taxi. Approximately 5 mins later we experienced numerous illumination of caution lights throughout the cockpit, including a forward cargo fire warning. After completing the appropriate cargo fire checklist, we returned to the gate west/O incident and deplaned the passenger. The cause of this incident was evidently the small amount of coffee that spilled on the console.
