Narrative:
Day high frequency 125.07 receivers failed. Had to work off overhead. Couldn't answer handoff lines through overhead. Condition took approximately 1 hour to fix. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: reporter stated the center was having a rash of radio frequency problems and failures for a month period. FAA technicians investigated problem and it has been resolved. With a sector plug-in jack failure interphones are not available to the radio controller and require another controller at a different position to do the ARTCC intrafac coordination.
