Narrative:
While in our enroute climb to FL260; we noticed in our scan that the cabin rate was fluctuating and cabin altitude was rising. We leveled off immediately at FL228 while simultaneously executing the QRH procedure switching to manual pressurization controller. Unable to control the pressurization; we went straight to the rapid cabin depressurization procedures while getting the cabin aural warning voice message. The passenger oxygen deployed in our descent. Level at 10;000 feet; we continued direct to ZZZ in emergency status due to our remaining fuel on-board. We maintained communication with our flight attendant; passengers; company; and ATC and landed without incident at our destination.

Title: EMB-145 First Officer reported the malfunctioning of the pressurization system during climb. Flight diverted to an enroute airport.
