Narrative:
I was performing a straight in 3 mile final for runway xx. Upon initial flare; close to the beginning of runway xx; I was not happy with the increased wind and aborted the landing and powered back up; climbing 200 feet and then reestablished a 65 mph descent for another wheel landing attempt. The wind was 8-10 knots out of 100 degrees. Upon the main wheels touching the ground; the left wing slowly kept rising uncontrollably causing the right wingtip to just ever so slightly touch the ground. Upon the right wingtip touching the ground; the speed was very close to zero and I applied power to try to bring the tail down. Because the right wingtip slightly touching; the aircraft's forward momentum kept the tail rising up. The airplane slowly came to rest on its nose; with the tail high. The airplane remained lined up very close to the runway centerline. I was the sole person aboard and sustained no damage. The airplane has slight scrapes on the right and left leading edge wing tips. Also a prop strike.
