Narrative:

Upon an FAA ramp inspection, the packing card in my parachute was out of date. Inside the bldg at the parachute center where we keep parachutes, there is a calendar of all the parachuters and packing dates. The calendar said, and was marked off as being packed less than 30 days before the ramp check. The parachute was packed within the FAA regulations, but inspector would not look at calendar with our packing dates. All of my documents were in order (pilot certificate, log books, annuals, etc). I feel the parachute packer forgot to update the pack card, but he did mark off that wall calendar (as being packed) all of our pilot reserve rigs.
