Narrative:
Descending into bwi ARTCC handed aircraft off to bwi. During this transition a cup of coffee was inadvertently spilled of the communication console, causing a total loss of communication after repeated efforts to restore radio contact, the captain selected 7600 on the operating transponder and remained on the assigned routing following published lost communication procedures communication was briefly restored and approach and landing clrncs were issued. After landing, communication was lost until reaching the parking area.

Title: ACR MLG LOST RADIO COM WITH ATC DURING HANDOFF FROM ZDC TO BWI APCH CTL, A CREW MEMBER SPILLED COFFEE ON THE CENTER CONSOLE SHORTING OUT RADIO CONTACTS.
Narrative: DSNDING INTO BWI ARTCC HANDED ACFT OFF TO BWI. DURING THIS TRANSITION A CUP OF COFFEE WAS INADVERTENTLY SPILLED OF THE COM CONSOLE, CAUSING A TOTAL LOSS OF COM AFTER REPEATED EFFORTS TO RESTORE RADIO CONTACT, THE CAPT SELECTED 7600 ON THE OPERATING XPONDER AND REMAINED ON THE ASSIGNED ROUTING FOLLOWING PUBLISHED LOST COM PROCS COM WAS BRIEFLY RESTORED AND APCH AND LNDG CLRNCS WERE ISSUED. AFTER LNDG, COM WAS LOST UNTIL REACHING THE PARKING AREA.
