Narrative:
During climb #1 engine ran away with subsequent malfunction of autoplt and yaw damper. While controling aircraft we were forced to level at FL210 while climbing to FL240. Traffic was in front of us and on parallel course we turned to 250 degree and cleared to maintain 10000 ft. Emergency was declared and flight was continued to sjc on 3 engines.

Title: A 4 ENGINE TURBO ACR LOSES ONE ENGINE AND CONTINUES TO DESTINATION AFTER DECLARING AN EMERGENCY SITUATION.
Narrative: DURING CLB #1 ENG RAN AWAY WITH SUBSEQUENT MALFUNCTION OF AUTOPLT AND YAW DAMPER. WHILE CTLING ACFT WE WERE FORCED TO LEVEL AT FL210 WHILE CLBING TO FL240.
