Narrative:
[There may have been] static build up from rain that we were flying through.on the initial climb out; while leaving ZZZ; we were going through some rain. I began to hear a type of electric spark sound coming from captain's window and when I grabbed the handle to make sure that it was closed; I experienced what I would say an electric shock. Then; I began to feel unease and decided to divert.[we should] check all airplanes for proper grounding.
