Narrative:
Upon a takeoff of runway 04 at 4j6 at xx:00 and again at Y:00, marine guards in towers ot the kings bay navy submarine base weapons storage area, shined spot lights on the aircraft, blinding the pilots and continued to leave the lights shining on the aircraft all the way around the landing pattern. This is an extremely dangerous situation that requires some action now to stop it. It has been reported numerous times!! Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information. We have been reporting this annoyance and actually hazardous practice of shining high power beams into cockpits at night for almost a year now. Finally we get the information that the base commandment has issued orders to cease and desist. Now they are talking about light towers with red lights mounted to note a restr area. We are more than a mi from the base and consider the light beams to be needless overreaction to aircraft in the traffic pattern at our airport.
