Narrative:
B-hydraulic system failure. Followed abnormal procedure in aircraft manual. Contacted company and center. Uneventful landing and taxi to gate in tpa. During cruise the #1 b-sys pump was off per checklist. First indication was caution lights for b-sys flight controls on forward INS panel. Initial reaction was to turn on #1 pump and refer to abnormal checklist. At that time I noticed b-sys hydraulic quantity had gone to 0. After landing the mechanics found a hydraulic line just behind the left main gear well leaking. I believe this line was downstream of the pumps. Supplemental information from acn 158076: we had a center FAA controller on a fam ride. I think he got a real good experience from the other side of the street.
