Narrative:
Arriving in pit on schedule we had approximately 51 mins to change gates and aircraft. The copilot and myself discussed maximum takeoff weights and limits. Our weight and balance data came via ACARS (aircraft data link) and showed bleeds off. Two jumpseaters asked for the jumpseat. They both ended up sitting in the passenger cabin. We were slightly delayed as the mechanics were pushing the aircraft to our right. We were also running approximately 10 mins late due to the heavy passenger load. The frequency was very congested. We heard a clearance saying hold short of gate. The copilot keyed it back. It seemed odd we should be holding short of gate so we queried ramp control. He told us that clearance was for an inbound aircraft and we should proceed oscar short of tango. The copilot contacted ground and told them we were short of T, phx bound. As we arrived in the line up for takeoff we were #4 or #5. When we were #2 the copilot configured the aircraft for a bleeds off takeoff. I double checked the flaps at 5 degrees and how copilot configured the pressurization panel. Tower told us to taxi in position and hold. Tower cleared us for takeoff. I believe I accepted the takeoff clearance. We did not hear tower tell us to go over to departure control. I asked tower if xxc could contact departure. There was a pause. Tower said I don't know who xxc is but I cleared xxgh for takeoff. (At that point the copilot and I realized there was a goof up). I told the tower that we were XX3. He told us to contact departure. Departure first told us to go to briggs intersection then changed it to intercept the 074 right off of mmj. He asked us to verify destination which we did. (Briggs intersection probably was the intersection xxc was supposed to go to).

Title: AFTER AN EQUIPMENT CHANGE AT PIT THE FLT CREW FAILED TO USE THE NEW CALL SIGN AND CONTINUED TO USE THE INBOUND ACFT CALL.
Narrative: ARRIVING IN PIT ON SCHEDULE WE HAD APPROX 51 MINS TO CHANGE GATES AND ACFT. THE COPLT AND MYSELF DISCUSSED MAX TKOF WEIGHTS AND LIMITS. OUR WEIGHT AND BALANCE DATA CAME VIA ACARS (ACFT DATA LINK) AND SHOWED BLEEDS OFF. TWO JUMPSEATERS ASKED FOR THE JUMPSEAT. THEY BOTH ENDED UP SITTING IN THE PAX CABIN. WE WERE SLIGHTLY DELAYED AS THE MECHS WERE PUSHING THE ACFT TO OUR R. WE WERE ALSO RUNNING APPROX 10 MINS LATE DUE TO THE HVY PAX LOAD. THE FREQ WAS VERY CONGESTED. WE HEARD A CLRNC SAYING HOLD SHORT OF GATE. THE COPLT KEYED IT BACK. IT SEEMED ODD WE SHOULD BE HOLDING SHORT OF GATE SO WE QUERIED RAMP CTL. HE TOLD US THAT CLRNC WAS FOR AN INBND ACFT AND WE SHOULD PROCEED OSCAR SHORT OF TANGO. THE COPLT CONTACTED GND AND TOLD THEM WE WERE SHORT OF T, PHX BOUND. AS WE ARRIVED IN THE LINE UP FOR TKOF WE WERE #4 OR #5. WHEN WE WERE #2 THE COPLT CONFIGURED THE ACFT FOR A BLEEDS OFF TKOF. I DOUBLE CHKED THE FLAPS AT 5 DEGS AND HOW COPLT CONFIGURED THE PRESSURIZATION PANEL. TWR TOLD US TO TAXI IN POS AND HOLD. TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF. I BELIEVE I ACCEPTED THE TKOF CLRNC. WE DID NOT HEAR TWR TELL US TO GO OVER TO DEP CTL. I ASKED TWR IF XXC COULD CONTACT DEP. THERE WAS A PAUSE. TWR SAID I DON'T KNOW WHO XXC IS BUT I CLRED XXGH FOR TKOF. (AT THAT POINT THE COPLT AND I REALIZED THERE WAS A GOOF UP). I TOLD THE TWR THAT WE WERE XX3. HE TOLD US TO CONTACT DEP. DEP FIRST TOLD US TO GO TO BRIGGS INTXN THEN CHANGED IT TO INTERCEPT THE 074 R OFF OF MMJ. HE ASKED US TO VERIFY DEST WHICH WE DID. (BRIGGS INTXN PROBABLY WAS THE INTXN XXC WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO).
