Narrative:
I began this oddesy by getting ATIS information. I returned to ground, 121.9 again stating I had ATIS information and was squawking xyz and requested again to leave by 27 from the FBO. She replied, 'cleared to 27.' during this time two emergency trucks screeched up in front of the tower, maybe 200 off my left wing. I was hearing on 121.9 all this chatter about the jet with a medical emergency that they were expecting etc numerous call from the trucks etc. I proceeded slowly right under the tower monitoring 121.9 across runway 3/21 and taxied to run up position on runway 27. I did my run up and called the tower, 119.7. I idented myself, again with the information and direction of turn out. The tower said, 'how did you get out there?' I replied that I had cleared through ground and taxied to runway 27. A lot of questions and he finally said he would listen to the tapes and call me in miami. When I landed in miami, ground told me to call them for a phone number.

Title: CONFUSION OVER TAXI CLRNC AT MGM.
Narrative: I BEGAN THIS ODDESY BY GETTING ATIS INFO. I RETURNED TO GND, 121.9 AGAIN STATING I HAD ATIS INFO AND WAS SQUAWKING XYZ AND REQUESTED AGAIN TO LEAVE BY 27 FROM THE FBO. SHE REPLIED, 'CLRED TO 27.' DURING THIS TIME TWO EMER TRUCKS SCREECHED UP IN FRONT OF THE TWR, MAYBE 200 OFF MY L WING. I WAS HEARING ON 121.9 ALL THIS CHATTER ABOUT THE JET WITH A MEDICAL EMER THAT THEY WERE EXPECTING ETC NUMEROUS CALL FROM THE TRUCKS ETC. I PROCEEDED SLOWLY RIGHT UNDER THE TWR MONITORING 121.9 ACROSS RWY 3/21 AND TAXIED TO RUN UP POS ON RWY 27. I DID MY RUN UP AND CALLED THE TWR, 119.7. I IDENTED MYSELF, AGAIN WITH THE INFO AND DIRECTION OF TURN OUT. THE TWR SAID, 'HOW DID YOU GET OUT THERE?' I REPLIED THAT I HAD CLRED THROUGH GND AND TAXIED TO RWY 27. A LOT OF QUESTIONS AND HE FINALLY SAID HE WOULD LISTEN TO THE TAPES AND CALL ME IN MIAMI. WHEN I LANDED IN MIAMI, GND TOLD ME TO CALL THEM FOR A PHONE NUMBER.
