Narrative:
We took off 4R [and] prior to reaching 3000 ft we encountered wake turbulence. [The] autopilot kicked off I took control of the plane and returned to assigned altitude [of] 3000ft. No RA announced and we returned to our altitude smoothly and safely. During our debrief we talked about wake turbulence [and] gusty conditions especially when taking off behind large aircraft.
