Narrative:
I had gone on break for about 10 minutes when the flight attendants awoke me. I returned to the flight deck to see the plane in a descent and my windshield shattered. I got into the seat and began coordinating with ATC for the arrival into ZZZZ. The winds were too strong to land on the east runway so we got vectors around the field for landing west using the RNAV approach. Since my windshield was obscured; the copilot landed.
