Narrative:
On IFR flight from btr to lch, controller proceeded to vector our aircraft at 1500'. Although we had enough fuel to be legal, we declared minimum fuel to notify ATC only, not for priority handling. I made a mistake when filing my flight plan and listed more fuel on board than was actually present; however, we were still legal according to the far IFR fuel requirements, thereby making ATC question our declaration with regard to filed fuel on board. I also listed my coplts name as PIC as he was supposed to fly that leg. However, I myself changed our schedule and actually flew at PIC. Supplemental information from acn 159294: I was flying as copilot (right seat). The captain advised me to call approach control and make a statement of minimum fuel after we were told to fly vectors away from the airport to allow other traffic to approach and land. This was necessitating us to fly for an extended time at low altitude, thereby dramatically increasing fuel burn over what had been anticipated. The statement was made only as a safety precaution and advisory to ATC should any further unanticipated delays at low altitude be necessary.

Title: CPR X MISFILED AMOUNT OF FUEL ON BOARD. DECLARED MINIMUM FUEL WHILE ON RADAR VECTOR FOR APCH.
Narrative: ON IFR FLT FROM BTR TO LCH, CTLR PROCEEDED TO VECTOR OUR ACFT AT 1500'. ALTHOUGH WE HAD ENOUGH FUEL TO BE LEGAL, WE DECLARED MINIMUM FUEL TO NOTIFY ATC ONLY, NOT FOR PRIORITY HANDLING. I MADE A MISTAKE WHEN FILING MY FLT PLAN AND LISTED MORE FUEL ON BOARD THAN WAS ACTUALLY PRESENT; HOWEVER, WE WERE STILL LEGAL ACCORDING TO THE FAR IFR FUEL REQUIREMENTS, THEREBY MAKING ATC QUESTION OUR DECLARATION WITH REGARD TO FILED FUEL ON BOARD. I ALSO LISTED MY COPLTS NAME AS PIC AS HE WAS SUPPOSED TO FLY THAT LEG. HOWEVER, I MYSELF CHANGED OUR SCHEDULE AND ACTUALLY FLEW AT PIC. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 159294: I WAS FLYING AS COPLT (RIGHT SEAT). THE CAPT ADVISED ME TO CALL APCH CTL AND MAKE A STATEMENT OF MINIMUM FUEL AFTER WE WERE TOLD TO FLY VECTORS AWAY FROM THE ARPT TO ALLOW OTHER TFC TO APCH AND LAND. THIS WAS NECESSITATING US TO FLY FOR AN EXTENDED TIME AT LOW ALT, THEREBY DRAMATICALLY INCREASING FUEL BURN OVER WHAT HAD BEEN ANTICIPATED. THE STATEMENT WAS MADE ONLY AS A SAFETY PRECAUTION AND ADVISORY TO ATC SHOULD ANY FURTHER UNANTICIPATED DELAYS AT LOW ALT BE NECESSARY.
