Narrative:
Received email concerning the crew oxygen cylinder on this flight. Prior to our flight there had been maintanace on the oxygen cylinder. It was relayed to me that the oxygen cylinder valve was not in the full open position during our flight. During my preflight 2 jumpseat riders came in and introduced themselves and I must have missed the long 10 count check during my pre-flight checks. I have gone back and reviewed the oxygen preflight procedures in the aom to refresh myself. Plus; I know that if I get distracted I should start at a known completion point and continue with my tasks at hand.
