Narrative:
Three hour flight to ZZZ. [It was a] night landing; right crosswind; [with] rain. [Aircraft] went off left side then returned to runway and taxied off. Damaged pitot tube under left wing; near tip; where pitot tube struck grass.[this was] probably caused by misjudging height and dropping plane in. I may have started to go-around; but [was] too late.
