Narrative:
Monday conditions at lga were daylight and clear. I completed my originating preflight. No discrepancies were noted. There were no open or hold items in the log book. The first leg of our day was to boston. After we arrived at the gate I completed my walk-around where I noted a left wing navigation light inoperative and broken safety wire on the altitude flap guarded switch. Maintenance repaired both items. No other discrepancies were noted. We departed the gate for lga. Arrived lga. No abnormal conditions were noted. No log book entries were made. On tue I reported for duty, completed 1 round-trip to bos, arrived lga and maintenance advised me that there had been a scraped leading edge slat on the right wing tip of the aircraft my crew and another crew had flown the previous day. Neither my crew nor I knew of the damage.
