Narrative:

I departed VFR from sgf. I reported 10 mi northeast of M58 for landing (no one present at unicom). I called carthage unicom (H20) and asked for wind there and received a report. I xed midfield and looked at the wind sock and reduced speed to approach flap speed. I entered and reported left downwind leg for runway 36. I applied approach flaps and reduced speed to gear speed, then put gear in down position. I reported and entered left base. I completed prelndg checklist with landing flaps left to go. I turned and reported final and applied full flaps. I made a normal descent to runway 36, I felt the wheels touch, then the propellers hit. I noticed and heard the gear horn and saw the gear red light in the down position. I then committed to a wheels up landing following normal emergency procedures. (Fuel idle cutoff, power levers were already idle, fuel fire wall valves closed, gang bar down, boost pumps off). I finished the wheels up landing and secured airplane. A contributing factor to this incident is the fact that I was wearing a head set and I had a head cold with stopped up ears and a great deal of early morning sunlight shining in the cockpit that seemed to illuminate 3 green gear down lights. Also upon T/D the airplanes gear seemed to let down with the T/D. What might help this situation in the future is having gear horn and all sound warnings wired also through the headset.

Title: GEAR UP LNDG.

Narrative: I DEPARTED VFR FROM SGF. I RPTED 10 MI NE OF M58 FOR LNDG (NO ONE PRESENT AT UNICOM). I CALLED CARTHAGE UNICOM (H20) AND ASKED FOR WIND THERE AND RECEIVED A RPT. I XED MIDFIELD AND LOOKED AT THE WIND SOCK AND REDUCED SPD TO APCH FLAP SPD. I ENTERED AND RPTED L DOWNWIND LEG FOR RWY 36. I APPLIED APCH FLAPS AND REDUCED SPD TO GEAR SPD, THEN PUT GEAR IN DOWN POS. I RPTED AND ENTERED L BASE. I COMPLETED PRELNDG CHKLIST WITH LNDG FLAPS L TO GO. I TURNED AND RPTED FINAL AND APPLIED FULL FLAPS. I MADE A NORMAL DSNT TO RWY 36, I FELT THE WHEELS TOUCH, THEN THE PROPS HIT. I NOTICED AND HEARD THE GEAR HORN AND SAW THE GEAR RED LIGHT IN THE DOWN POS. I THEN COMMITTED TO A WHEELS UP LNDG FOLLOWING NORMAL EMER PROCS. (FUEL IDLE CUTOFF, PWR LEVERS WERE ALREADY IDLE, FUEL FIRE WALL VALVES CLOSED, GANG BAR DOWN, BOOST PUMPS OFF). I FINISHED THE WHEELS UP LNDG AND SECURED AIRPLANE.
