Narrative:
Obtained standard VFR flight briefing from riverside FSS for flight from brackett field to bullhead, az. No mention of a temporary restr area 15 mi northeast of pomona VOR. Restr area due forest service aerial fire fighting. After takeoff from brackett I did a right downwind departure to stay clear of ont arsa. About 5 NM of brackett tower called traffic for me from their BRITE scope. Traffic calls continued for another 3-4 mi. I took some evasive action and continued on course. Tower could easily see I was headed toward restr area, but gave me no warning. I may have transited the area in climb. No fire fighting aircraft observed. I asked riverside FSS on the radio if a controled burn was in progress. They then told me of the temporary restr area. FSS failed to include in my briefing that the restr area was in effect. Brackett tower failed to include restr area in ATIS information. Restr area was only 14 mi northeast. Brackett tower operator failed to warn me of restr area when it was clear I was headed in the direction of the restr area. Brackett tower may not have been informed of the restr area.
