Narrative:
An incident occurred on 10/sun/90 at rhinebeck aerodrome. During the past 20 yrs or more the antique aircraft club of greater north.Y. Would fly to rhinebeck aerodrome, do a fly-by, and then on the second pass drop pumpkins and flour bombs on the runway. We would then proceed to land and watch the rest of the rhinebeck show. This was all done with the consent of the management at rhinebeck. On this particular sunday one of the pumpkins hit a vintage biplane. Unfortunately there was damage and loss of revenue in the amount of $1500, which I have agreed to pay, and needless to say, I'm sorry that it happened and will do whatever is required to make sure it never happens again.
