Narrative:
Load planner checked flight after final and discovered according to [load documents] a hazmat item was showing loaded in pit 2 unsecured. Advised dispatch and station. Captain opted to depart anyway. Station stated that it was loaded in pit 3 and the scanner showed that nothing was in pit 2. Unlocked [the records] so that they could manually edit. Will advise ZZZ1 the need for a loading audit on arrival.
