Narrative:
On the STAR [coltr 3] into abq; we were cleared for an rnp Z (required navigation performance) approach to runway 3. FAA has the last fix on the STAR as the if on the approach. By selecting the wrong fix in the FMC; it deletes the RF (radius to fix) leg and sends you to final approach fix. FAA needs to change if to different name than last fix on STAR. Making sure crews select correct tntoe to add in RF leg.
