Narrative:

During ILS approach into msp, we were told (#) to maintain 4000' until established, cleared for the ILS. During base leg on approach captain (PF) allowed aircraft to descend about 800' below the G/south. I called 10W on the approach, but was not forceful enough on my callout. This was partly due to my being new on the aircraft and not wanting to offend the captain who was experienced. We both became so engrossed with returning the aircraft to its proper flight path that we did not complete the final descent checklist. The flight landed west/O incident but clearly was a deviation from standard SOP operation. To prevent this is the future I'll yell a lot louder if the aircraft goes below G/south significantly, and I'll put the checklist in my hand as soon as the gear comes down.

Title: FLT CREW BECAME SO DISTRACTED BY AN ALT DEVIATION THAT THEY FORGOT TO PERFORM THE BEFORE LNDG CHECKLIST.

Narrative: DURING ILS APCH INTO MSP, WE WERE TOLD (#) TO MAINTAIN 4000' UNTIL ESTABLISHED, CLRED FOR THE ILS. DURING BASE LEG ON APCH CAPT (PF) ALLOWED ACFT TO DSND ABOUT 800' BELOW THE G/S. I CALLED 10W ON THE APCH, BUT WAS NOT FORCEFUL ENOUGH ON MY CALLOUT. THIS WAS PARTLY DUE TO MY BEING NEW ON THE ACFT AND NOT WANTING TO OFFEND THE CAPT WHO WAS EXPERIENCED. WE BOTH BECAME SO ENGROSSED WITH RETURNING THE ACFT TO ITS PROPER FLT PATH THAT WE DID NOT COMPLETE THE FINAL DSNT CHKLIST. THE FLT LANDED W/O INCIDENT BUT CLEARLY WAS A DEVIATION FROM STANDARD SOP OPERATION. TO PREVENT THIS IS THE FUTURE I'LL YELL A LOT LOUDER IF THE ACFT GOES BELOW G/S SIGNIFICANTLY, AND I'LL PUT THE CHKLIST IN MY HAND AS SOON AS THE GEAR COMES DOWN.
