Narrative:

I received current WX information from ict FSS at early a.M. On 11/X/90. VFR conditions forecast throughout entire route. Departed hys at X a.M. Toward ict. Approximately X:30 VFR deteriorated. Tried to descend below and maintain VFR. Decided to try and return to hys. Headed directly for hys and conditions deteriorated. Tried to head for great bend but conditions continued to deteriorate. Tried to head to lyons but conditions continued to deteriorate. Contacted ict FSS and apprised them of situation. They had me turn 7700 and found me in assumed position via DF stear. The decision was made to proceed to hutchinson, ks. Ict FSS told me there were towers close to my position. I ascended to altitude above the towers which put me in clouds. When clear of towers I proceeded in marginal VFR conditions. Ict FSS switched me to ZKC who guided me to hutchinson where I landed west/O problems.
