Narrative:
En route to fitchburg from bedford for minor repairs by mechanic. I was late for the appointment which possibly was a mental distraction. Moore and fitchburg both have runway 32 and both are situated along route 2. I turned in fitchburg, heard many pilots announcing approach to 32. With ADF pointing straight ahead (fitchburg is beyond moore), I saw what I thought was fitchburg. I wondered how I might have missed seeing moore, and decided I had missed it in the haze (a poor judgement!). Announced a 45 degree turn, then downwind, base and final. Realized at that time that I was at the wrong airport. No other traffic at all. I landed and taxied off to contact the tower and talk it through with them.
