Narrative:
After leveling off at 7000 feet on departure from ZZZ; we experienced a #2 engine failure. No fire warnings were observed. Engine #2 indication showed a wind-milling engine with no egt. ATC was notified and [advised]. Engine failure checklist was run and flight attendants; passengers; and dispatch were notified via ACARS. Vectors to an ILS xxr were flown to a successful overweight landing. Taxiway east was used to stop the aircraft for inspection from the fire trucks. No fire or unsafe conditions existed so we taxied to gate. Maintenance report was documented. [Chief pilot]; dispatch; maintenance; and flight attendants were all debriefed.
