Narrative:

Taking off on runway 18 south bend, in. Began takeoff roll at 70 KTS I took the controls (first officer), a few seconds later a small flock of birds came up in the path of the aircraft but missed us. Just when we thought they were gone three or four more flocks came up, so we aborted the takeoff. But in the process birds struck the aircraft going into the engine inlets damaging both engines. We shut one end down after the abort while rolling out. No injuries or damage to the aircraft occurred other than the engines. After the aircraft was on the ramp and people deplaned, the FAA ramp checked us.
